Every December, Locksmith Ledger takes a look back at the most popular new products of the year, based on  Google Analytics data that tracks online views of the products through our website, www.locksmithledger.com. Popular categories in 2024 included electric strikes, key blanks, electronic locks, locks for multifamily applications and locks with visual indicators.

We also noticed a few trends, as noted in our Best of Electronics article on page 20 and Best of Mechanical article on page 24. On the electronic side,  wireless locks, smart locks and  mobile credentials are in demand. And on the mechanical side, glass door security and for securing critical infrastructure were trending.
