As the year comes to an end, it’s time for those “best of 2025” lists to appear. Locksmith Ledger is taking a look back at our most-viewed new products of 2025, based on Google Analytics data tracking views on our website, www.locksmithledger.com. (The fine print: these products appeared on our website for the first time between Oct. 2, 2024, and Oct. 10, 2025.)
The multifamily sector is among the fastest growing, with several interconnected locks introduced for this market, which includes both retrofit and new construction. Two of the latest electric strikes offer expanded feature sets and functionalities. Rugged exit devices and gate locks are designed to hold up to heavy use and challenging weather conditions. Padlocks have also gone high-tech, with models for small businesses and to secure vans and cargo. In the automotive sector, new GM fobs take center stage. On the tools and equipment side, an interesting partnership makes new code software available.
