ISC East 2020, scheduled for Nov. 18-19, 2020, in New York City, has been canceled because of the ongoing effect of COVID-19. Instead, a virtual event will be held Nov. 18.
Reed Exhibitions, along with premier sponsor Security Industry Association (SIA), announced the change.
Extensive travel restrictions across the majority of the United States, health and safety concerns because of the pandemic and the essential workers’ responsibility of security and public professionals during this time made it not viable to meet in person this year, Reed says. Instead, ISC East, along with SIA and ASIS New York chapter, will host a half-day ISC East virtual event that will include the ASIS NYC Person of the Year Award and curated education sessions.
ISC East attendees and supporters are welcome and encouraged to participate in the ISC West 2020 Virtual Event, taking place online Oct. 5-7. It’s free for all to attend.
The ISC East 2021 event will take place Nov. 17-18 at the Javits Center in New York City.
