ISC West 2020, scheduled for Oct. 5-8 in Las Vegas, instead will appear online.
The conference has been canceled as an in-person event as a result of industry and market circumstances. Reed Exhibitions, along with the Security Industry Association, will transform ISC West 2020 into an all-virtual event Oct. 5-7, 2020.
In an email message, Will Wise, group vice president, Reed Exhibition, says, “While we are very disappointed to not be able to meet face-to-face this year in Las Vegas, we look forward to continuing to help the ISC West community engage via digital programs, resources and connections. Our team, along with our valued venue partner, Sands Expo and Venetian, is working on detailed planning and protocols for ISC West 2021, which will take place March 23-26, 2021.”
Information about the virtual event, including formats for education, discussion groups, matchmaking, showcased solutions and technologies, will be announced soon. In addition, Mary Beth Shaughnessy, event director of ISC security events says all parties are assessing the situation regarding ISC East 2020, which is scheduled for Nov. 18-19 in New York City and should make a decision regarding that event in the next eight to 10 weeks.
All amounts paid to attend the Expo or conference/education to date for the March 2020 ISC West edition will be refunded in the next 14 days.
