Kwikset’s KwikSlide Technology Wins HBS Dealer Golden Hammer Award

LAKE FOREST, California —Kwikset’s patented KwikSlide technology has been named a Golden Hammer Award winner by HBS Dealer. The annual awards recognize standout new products in the hardware and building supply industry based on innovation, value and shelf appeal. KwikSlide, replaces the traditional thumbpiece with an intuitive slide-to-unlock grip. Once the deadbolt is unlocked, homeowners simply slide the grip downward, using a hand, wrist or elbow, to retract the latch and open the door. The mechanism creates a smooth, ergonomic experience that supports accessibility for busy households, families with children and aging adults.
