Easily identify keys with Key Bands, Lucky Line Products’ new color-coded, write-on key identifiers. Key Bands are colored heat-plastic, which shrinks to form-fit the key head, which provides a writable surface. Simply slide a band over a key head and apply heat. Key Bands are suited to awkwardly shaped keys when standard key caps won’t work. Because the Key Bands shrink to fit the key, they also can reduce bulk around the key chain. Key Bands are suited to key organization, and they make it easy to color-code, label and easily identify keys for home, the office, etc. Size Medium is meant for standard size keys, such as house keys. Size Large is for larger headed keys, such as office keys.
The process to apply Key Bands is quick and easy:
1. Slide Key Band over the key head.
2. Hold Key Band in place with pliers, tweezers, clothespin, etc.
3. Heat Key Band with blow dryer, heat gun or by placing in boiling water. The band will shrink to fit the key head.
4. To label, use a Sharpie or a preprinted label.
Key Bands also can be cut prior to heating to fit certain keys better, avoid covering the key hole on a smaller key or create a different style or shape.
Key Bands are available in four colors: red, blue, green and yellow. Medium Key Bands measure 1-1/8 in. (w) x 11/16 in. (h). Large Key Bands measure 1-1/4 in. (w) x 11/16 in. (h).
