Guide to Locksmith Associations
Locksmith associations serve several valuable functions, including education, networking and sharing of best practices among colleagues. Most associations hold monthly or quarterly meetings (at least pre-pandemic), with guest speakers who deliver updates on new products or helpful tips for running a small business.
Several of the larger groups also host annual conferences, such as the 72nd annual Greater Philadelphia Locksmith Association Convention, which was scheduled to be held Sept. 21-23 in Philadelphia. This convention was expected to include 10–12 industry classes, a Saturday trade show that would include 50-plus vendors, the always popular lock-picking contest and the awards banquet.
