Our first special supplement of the year, Automotive Locksmithing 2018, is included with this May 2018 issue. Articles cover transponder remotes, automotive key machines and the annual STRATTEC update. In addition, we present the results of our own automotive locksmithing survey. We asked locksmiths a series of questions about transponder programming equipment and key machines. Overwhelmingly, locksmiths indicated that they are looking for versatility, value and product quality when making major purchase decisions. Thanks to our readers who took part in this survey!
Locksmith Ledger readers have two great opportunities to learn about products that are new to the market. First, the Big Book Spring 2018 issue (a joint project with sister magazines Security Dealer & Integrator and Security Technology & Design) is a tabloid-sized new product supplement. Then in our July issue, Ledger will publish our annual New Product Focus issue, timed to arrive right before the ALOA Security Expo.
Also on tap this summer is the Access Control Trends & Technologies 2018 supplement, again a joint project with our sister publications.
