Anixter, Tri-Ed and CLARK announce the continuation of Tri-Ed’s highly successful Stadium Tour training & networking events during the 2017 baseball season. These one-day events feature technical trainings and exhibits from the security industry’s leading suppliers, dinner, and an exciting night out at the ballgame.

Framon Acquires Blue Dog Keys

Alpena, MI, – Framon Manufacturing Company has reached an agreement with the estate of Liam Gribben, former owner of Blue Dog Keys. Mr. Gribben died suddenly in June of 2016 and Blue Dog Keys ceased operations at that time. Framon Manufacturing has purchased the assets of the company including key blank inventory, trademarks, and other business inventory.

“Everything is finally back up and running as of March 1st.” said Phil Agius, VP of Sales & Marketing at Framon, “In addition to manufacturing key cutting machines since 1967, we have also operated a full-time locksmith shop since 1965, so we are quite familiar with the various types of key blanks in the industry. Together our employees have over 100 years of experience and we feel BDK will be an excellent fit.”

Leola, Pa- John Lamb has joined PDQ Manufacturing as Director of Government Business, based at PDQ's Leola, Penn, headquarters.

Lamb is responsible for development of government business, working closely with VisionCorps and National Industries for the Blind (NIB), on PDQ's AbilityOne© mandatory use program, part of a federal initiative that creates jobs for people who are blind. Additionally, he will be responsible for coordinating sales through state-use programs throughout the country. Many states currently have programs similar to the federal initiative.
