The award was presented during the ASIS International 62nd Annual Seminar and Exhibits on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fl.
The Medeco XT Data Analytics feature called Visual Audit is a powerful tool that is built in to the XT Web Manager software program. It leverages the data collected from Medeco XT intelligent keys and cylinders, giving security administrators the ability to quickly see access trends so they can act on the data. “The benefit of a visual audit is that it eliminates the need to search through hundreds or thousands of audit records to spot trends or to see something out of the ordinary,” said Gene Cronin, Medeco XT Product Line Manager. “Administrators need quick visibility of problems occurring within their facility. Medeco XT Data Analytics lets you know who might be “fishing” for access, or trying to gain access to areas where they do not belong. Additionally, the visual dashboard graphics show access trends that can highlight inefficiencies within certain work environments for even more value.
