2026 Locksmith Van Contest: Interiors

Congratulations to our winners: Port Angeles Lockworks, Technology at Work, East Coast Chip and Accu-Key Lock and Safe

While the exterior of a locksmith service van is generally for show (with exceptions for stealth vans), the interior is where the work takes place. Storage, workspace and power are vital components, all squeezed within tight quarters. Having the right tools within reach enables locksmiths to get the job done. And don’t overlook comfort; air conditioning, for example, can be vital during the summer. The bigger and higher the van, the more space, but we also saw some innovative solutions for smaller vehicles.

It was hard for our judges to pick winners in this category because some entries involved entire van build-outs, while others were simply one innovative idea or feature.

Congratulations to winner Sheldon Koehler,  Port Angeles Lockworks, who converted a former Amazon delivery van into a fully-outfitted locksmth van.

Three runners-up were Jay Lemmons, Technology at Work, who created a complete key duplication station in four cubic feet; East Coast Chip Keys’  ultra-organized inventory system and Accu-Key Lock & Safe Inc.’s cabinet and tool box system build-out.

Thank you to everyone who participated. (See the exterior entries in our May magazine and at www.locksmith
