LAS VEGAS, Nevada – At CES 2026, Lockly unveiled new hardware and software that aim to make home access more user-friendly and secure. Locky’s latest products include the Affirm Series smart locks, the first built-in Matter-compatible Lockly hardware; Lockly TapCom, a patent-pending property platform for short-term rental guests and owners; Lockly OwlGuard Security Camera, with HD-quality recording even without an Internet connection; and Lockly Smart Safe XL, the company’s next-generation device to secure personal belongings.

Lockly TapCom – App-Free Access and Communication Platform for Short-Term Rentals
Lockly TapCom is a patent-pending wireless, app-free video intercom and access solution designed for short-term rental guests and operators. When guests activate Lockly TapCom by tapping using an NFC-capable device (or scanning the included QR code), they can check in to a property, unlock the door, talk to the host via video intercom, and get information about the property or local recommendations, even if the associated lock is not connected to the Internet.
