Online Training: Free and Easy

It’s always a good idea to learn a new skill, and these manufacturer-offered online classes and videos are available when you and your staff have a free hour or two. Note that you will need to register and/or create an account to attend most classes. Our June issue will include more information.

Alarm Lock & Napco

Alarm Lock’s online training videos include such topics as programming a Networx lock, adding a proximity card to a Trilogy lock at the keypad and many more programming and installation functions.

Sister company Napco Security's webinars include weekly Tuesday Introductions to either Gemini Commercial or iBridge Video, plus a new two-session Gemini Commercial Certification Class where graduates earn factory-certification and 8 CEU credits. (A comprehensive online test is given after the 2 session classes).

Allegion

Allegion’s online courses are offered through the Allegion Learning Center. (You must create a profile before viewing the lineup.)

Allegion also offers 113 videos, with topics including panic hardware requirements, securing classroom doors and many brand-specific installation and servicing tips.
