A Better Bike Lock
Hello, My name is Nevin Murray, head of prototyping and production for better.bike: a light electric vehicle company. In our first vehicle, we currently have three separate keys, each for a separate lock in the vehicle. We would like to consolidate all of these keys into one barrel type and key. We have a few costraints in our lock choices and thus would like to contact someone at locksmiths ledger to see if they chould help solve our problem! One of my former occupations was working in the engineering department of a lock company. I would be happy to either make suggestions for you or direct you to a lock company who may be able to solve your keying questions. Is it possible to take pictures of the three locks which you are currently using and send the pictures to me? That would make it easier for me to determine a possible solution.
Keyless Remotes
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the recent article in the Automotive Locksmithing 2018 special supplement to Locksmith Ledger, titled "Keyless Remotes: The Devil really is in the Details." (Editor’s Note: Read this Steve Young article online at www.locksmithledger.com/12404311.)
As I read the article I enjoyed both the tone and choice of wording. I related to a lot of its contents, and I also learned a lot of really useful information.
