HATA Inc. was founded by Richard De Leon in May of 2001. Previously, Richard was employed by Atlantic Power as their Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Strattec. During the 13 years he spent with them, Atlantic Power was a central service distributor for Strattec Security Corporation and Briggs and Stratton. In 2001 Richard made the decision to form HATA Inc.
In the early years, HATA served the locksmith industry as a central distributor of Visa Lock and Framon key machines. Today HATA provides a full line of OEM and aftermarket key blanks. HATA also provides Framon's complete line of key machines and locksmithing tools.
In 2006, Dick Brandon, formerly of Auto Security Products, joined HATA as Vice President. Together, Richard and Dick have over 60 years of experience in the Locksmith industry.
As HATA grows from year to year they continue to grow the markets they serve. According to Richard his mantra has always been "We want people to do business with us because they want to not because they have to.” HATA provides quality products and automotive key blanks that always use OEM transponders to ensure that their keys work every time. Richard and the HATA team look forward to many years of continued growth and appreciate all who have done business with them in the past.
