Being First

License plates in North Carolina state “First in Flight.” The Wright brothers flew their plane at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. This first venture of manned flight will always be remembered.

Albert Einstein was a genius who was the first to make several ground-breaking discoveries. One hundred years later astronomers have finally proven one of his theories to be correct but it took modern machines not available during Einstein's life.

Who can forget the picture of astronauts planting an American flag on the moon? Regardless of how many other countries may eventually go to the moon, the American flag got there first.

This newsletter is being composed while I am flying across the country. Cold weather and snowy conditions in Chicago were left behind as the plane emerged above the clouds into sunshine. The purpose of the trip is to be the first to view some new products before they are introduced. After the official product introduction, you will be able to read about them in Locksmith Ledger.

During the last 75 years Locksmith Ledger has had the distinction of introducing hundreds of new products. The next Locksmith Ledger issue will describe a new safe servicing product and a future issue will contain a full report on my current visit. Our readership is the first to know whenever new products arrive.
