OMNIA Names Next President
The OMNIA Industries, Inc. Board of Directors has named Alexander Comini as the company’s President. He succeeds Alberto Comini, who founded OMNIA in 1964, and who will now hold the position of Chairman.
Alexander (Alex), one of the co-owners of OMNIA and previously a vice president, joined the company 23 years ago. In recent years, he has designed and been responsible for the manufacturing and promoting of product lines that have been successfully added to the OMNIA catalogue: Prodigy, Ultima, Classico and Traditions. Alex is instrumental in supervising the selection and production of hardware specified for many important installations, such as high profile buildings in New York, Miami, Chicago, Macau, etc.
As President, he will continue to develop new product lines, create strategies to enhance brand distinction, strengthen the existing market structure, oversee manufacturing and quality control, and build upon the original foundation for long term growth.

TRI-ED Stadium Tours Hit Home Run
Tri-Ed Distribution's 2015 Stadium Tour wrapped up its cross country journey with a final stop in Denver, Colorado. These customer appreciation and training events attracted hundreds of dealers and integrators in Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle and Denver.

Axis Acquires Citilog

Citilog is a privately held company with 30 employees, headquartered in Paris, France and with offices in the USA, Hong Kong and Spain. The company offers a suite of video analytics tools and sensors for transportation monitoring, such as automatic incident detection, traffic data collection and intersection control. Its products improve road safety, limit risks and help reduce travel time. Axis and Citilog have worked together for several years on both engineering and sales to provide integrated solutions to a number of mutual customers.

Sielox Expands Management Team
Sielox LLC announces the addition of three experienced and successful individuals to key management positions. Terry Carver has been promoted to the company’s new Product Manager and Sales Engineer; Dan Artman has been elevated to Vice President of the company’s Western territory; and Mike Hallford will serve as Vice President of the Eastern territory.

Dan Artman joined Sielox in June 2013 as Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast, working directly with Sielox business partners and end user customers, and building a network of architects and security consultants. Sielox, Dan successfully led sales and business development for Matrix Systems and Onity, now part of United Technologies Corp. In his new position as Vice President of Western Territory, he will continue these activities in his new position while also managing a network of manufacturer’s representatives in certain markets. In addition to the West Coast, Dan’s territory will expand to cover parts of the Upper Midwest, Alaska, Hawaii and Western Canada.
Mike Hallford comes to Sielox from Pelco by Schneider Electric, where he served as Business Development Manager for enterprise-level video surveillance systems. Mike has also held sales and business development positions with United Technologies Corp./Interlogix, GE Security, Johnson Controls, Interface Security Systems, Siemens Building Technologies, Diebold and Sensormatic Electronics.
