ASSA ABLOY Door Services Router 5.0 Integrated with C•CURE 9000
NEW HAVEN, CT –ASSA ABLOY announces the integration of its Door Service Router (DSR) 5.0 software with C•CURE 9000 v2.30 security management system from Software House, part of Tyco Security Products.
The DSR 5.0 integration offers Software House customers an easy, convenient way to integrate IP-enabled locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands with their existing C•CURE 9000 system. The DSR is software that translates commands from the access control system to locking hardware, reducing initial development time and providing an easy method of integration. The 5.0 release features expanded capacity and improved performance, increasing the security reach of customers that use this software.
C•CURE 9000 allows facilities to monitor events, manage personnel, create reports, display dynamic views, and more anywhere in the world directly using the full C•CURE 9000 client, the web client, or on the move with C•CURE Go mobile app. A single server and database provide an option to seamlessly unify access, video, intrusion, fire, and other supported security products in one intuitive interface.
“Our goal at Software House is to provide our customers with a well-rounded portfolio of cutting-edge technologies that give them a variety of options to build a total security solution for their business,” said Jason Ouellette, Product Line Director – Access Control, Tyco Security Products. “By integrating ASSA ABLOY DSR Software with C•CURE 9000, we are providing our customers with a quick and easy solution that will allow them to expand their security reach using multiple types of electronic access control products.”
“The DSR 5.0 integration with C•CURE 9000 offers facilities a very powerful, flexible solution,” stated Martin Huddart, President, Access and Egress Hardware Group, ASSA ABLOY Americas. “Software House can offer customers even more options for securing their facility, with the ability to manage wired and wireless openings from the same application.”
ASSA ABLOY’s IP-enabled offering includes a broad range of WiFi and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands CORBIN RUSSWIN and SARGENT. IP-enabled locks lower the total cost of ownership by leveraging existing or planned network infrastructure to reduce installation time and material costs. The WiFi locks connect to the access control system through a facility’s 802.11b/g/n WiFi network, and the IEEE 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) locks connect through the Local Area Network (LAN) utilizing a single Ethernet cable for both power and data.
