You can find the correct electronic strike by dormakaba brand RCI, compared with competitive manufacturers, through the company’s new RCI Cross Reference Tool.
“RCI electronic strikes are often exchanged or replaced due to wear and tear or the need to upgrade,” says Murray Lewin, senior product manager, dormakaba. “Our new RCI Cross Reference Tool makes it easy for users to enter their product information and quickly find which dormakaba product will best fit their needs. It’s all about making it easy for customers to find the right products for their needs quickly and efficiently.”
RCI electric strikes come available in fail-safe and fail-secure modes. The fail-safe configuration locks the door when the electric current is applied to the strike. With the fail-secure configuration, the door is locked until an electric current is applied to unlock the door.
