A single campus card can be used to access both the Blackboard system and IP-enabled locks from Corbin Russwin and Sargent.

New Haven, CT – ASSA ABLOY announces a strategic partnership agreement and product integration with Blackboard Inc., a leader in enterprise technology and innovative solutions for the education market, that will link ASSA ABLOY’s intelligent campus locks with Blackboard Transact™, the company’s commerce and security management platform.
The integration will facilitate seamless interaction between IP-enabled locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands CORBIN RUSSWIN and SARGENT and the Blackboard Transact platform, enabling schools to expand access control to any doorway on campus using the ASSA ABLOY and Blackboard pairing.
The interface makes it possible for institutions to use a single campus card to access both the Blackboard system and ASSA ABLOY locks. This helps schools expand their card services, while simultaneously reducing costs associated with traditional locking systems. Additionally, the integration provides administrators with an improved ability to manage and administer access control efforts to track and configure security system assignments, schedules, alarms and other functions.
