CyberLock announced the release of the second-generation CyberLock. The company's latest advancement provides AES-256 encryption between lock and key, the most robust encryption standard available.
Generation 2 cylinders retain CyberLock’s trusted sealed keyway for IP68-rated durability. The Gen 2 cylinder achieves the highest ratings under European Standard EN15684 for durability, environmental resistance and attack resistance. Because of its EN16864 Grade 5 corrosion resistance, Gen 2 padlocks can withstand virtually any outdoor environment.
A faster processor and expanded memory also provide a versatile foundation for future innovations. Gen 2's capability to store the most recent 6,500 audit events provides organizations with exceptional visibility over their assets. And with a significantly expanded Lost Key list, Gen 2 cylinders provide precise key control for even the largest installations.
