    Aiphone Corp. has released a mobile app for its popular GT Series multi-tenant video intercom. The convenient app will enable users to screen visitors directly from a smartphone, whether at home or away. The app, which requires the new GT-TLI-IP mobile app network adaptor, allows tenants to use smartphones to answer calls and unlock doors; view video and conduct two-way conversations in Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G communications; and control two automations such as gates and lights. Activating the app is simple, requiring only a scan of a QR code linked to the installed adaptor.

    GT Series intercoms integrate with security cameras to provide a wider view of entry area on either 3 ½- or 7-inch slim-profile tenant stations. Optional card readers or keypads enable keyless tenant entry.
