The included transformer plugs directly into 120-volt power. It is plug and play; no electrician needed. This east-to-connect low voltage power transformer that converts 120-volt power down to low-voltage power to support and supply the system with the power needed, 12 or 24 volts. Photo 3 shows the three Molex connections that you will need to make to power the reader, the strike and possibly a request to exit. Photo 4 shows the transformer unit that plugs directly into a standard plug.
In photo 6, you’ll see the black dot above the electric strike; that is the door position sensor. It will tell the door whether it’s closed or not and it integrates into the system.
Photo 7 shows the keypad, fully lit up with the top bar in the red position, indicating that it’s locked. When the RFID tag is presented as a credential, the green indicator light shows that it is now unlocked (Photo 8).
The system is seamlessly managed through the INOX Smart app, which enables you to easily pair access control devices and gateways and lock and unlock via smartphone, RFID tag or keypad.
