Vandal Resistant Exit Switch

SDC's 463U heavy duty, stainless steel exit switch is weatherized and vandal resistant. The impact resistant stainless steel button with a bi-color led status indicator has no moving parts and is capable of up to 1 billion cycles. The integrated weatherized timer is field adjustable from .05 to 60 seconds. When set at 0.5 (1/2) second, the output may be used as a momentary trigger in lieu of timer.

Features include -30mA-Idle / 150mA active, 12/24V AC/DC input, SPDT, 3 Amp, dry contact output, and -40° F to +160° F Operating Environment. Available in 1-gang wall mount or 1-3/4” narrow frame mount, the faceplate is made of heavy gauge vandal resistant 2.5 mm stainless. The radius faceplate return enables straight and even fastening to offset boxes and rough surfaces. Applications include request-to-exit, automatic door operation, timed lock release, remote bypass, alarm shunt and more. As a replacement for the SDC 460, the new 463U is available at a more competitive price.
