QEL

Hospital nurseries and patient rooms, libraries, museums, theaters and other locales requiring electrified hardware that operates at whisper-quiet levels can now incorporate the quiet electronic latch (QEL) option for Von Duprin 98/99 and 33a/35a series exit devices. Providing easy installation, a long life and lasting value, the intelligent QEL solution features self-calibration, on-board diagnostics and vandal detection/response.
The QEL option provides electronic unlatching of exit devices for continuous push-pull operation and/or access control. It can be activated through a building automation system, access control system or by a control system operator.
