Detex AO19 Series Low Energy Automatic Operators are economical, easy to install, heavy duty products for high use and high abuse applications. All AO19 Series Operators meet requirements for ANSI/BHMA A156.9 (American National Standard for Power Assist and Low Energy Power Operated Doors) and provide standard features that meet the requirements of the American Disabilities Act.

Operators are available for three different door applications: 

  • Single Doors (AO19-1)
  • Double Doors (AO19-2)
  • Double Egress Doors (AO19-3)

The reliable AO19 offers all the features you expect in an automatic door operator at no extra cost. All operators feature Power Close, adjustable Delayed Activation for sequenced vestibule doors, Reverse On Obstruction, adjustable Closing Speed, Push & Go, 3-way On/Off/Hold switch for ease of service and setup, and Electric Lock Relay including 300ma AC/DC.

The AO19 can be integrated into any existing system, including access control, fire, request to exit, computer signal devices and delayed egress.

Detex also offers the AO19 in an EasyKit. The Automatically Operated Doors (AOD) EasyKit provide a system that includes the Advantex Latch Retraction exit device and the AO19 Low Energy Automatic Operator with a built-in power supply. The Automatic Operator is pre-wired with the latch retraction power supply, making installation fast and easy. All hardware items, plus riser and wiring diagrams, are provided with one easy-to-order, easy-to-specify part number.
