Grizzly Dispatch: AI Phone Dispatch for Locksmiths

Ashland, Oregon — Grizzly Dispatch has opened early access for locksmiths. It's an AI phone assistant that answers when the locksmith can't, takes the job, and texts the owner a complete ticket the moment the call ends.

Its first question sorts the two calls a locksmith gets: someone locked out right now, and someone who wants to schedule work like rekeying a rental between tenants. Lockouts get dispatched; scheduled work goes in as a request that the locksmith confirms with one tap. Rekey totals come from the owner's own per-lock price, computed exactly rather than estimated.

It is built for a trade where trust matters. It tells every caller it's an automated assistant. It quotes only the prices the owner sets, always as an estimate the owner confirms, and never promises an arrival time the owner hasn't given. Every booked job ends with a reminder that the locksmith will need to see a photo ID that matches the address, or the vehicle's registration.

"My call logs taught me who waits," said Brian Johnson, owner of Grizzly Towing & Recovery and founder of Grizzly Dispatch. "A stranded driver won't wait for anyone, but a landlord who needs six locks rekeyed just wants to get on somebody's schedule. Answering that call is the whole job, and a locksmith with a customer at the door can't do it."

Locksmiths can hear it for themselves: call the locksmith demo line at 541-625-1235 and play a customer. Afterward, it texts you the ticket the owner would receive.Grizzly Dispatch is offered at a set monthly fee for a solo operator, with no per-minute charges and no contract. It works in English and Spanish. Details are at grizzlydispatch.com/locksmith-dispatch.
