SECO-LARM has launched Long-Range Curtain Barrier Sensors, designed to provide reliable, focused perimeter security for both indoor and outdoor applications. These new models are well-suited for protecting windows, doorways, skylights, fence tops, walls, and other confined or elongated spaces, offering installers a versatile solution for strategic intrusion detection.

Available in 4-, 6-, and 8-beam configurations, these sensors provide customizable protection zones with selectable trigger logic—activating alarms either when any single beam is interrupted or when two adjacent beams are broken simultaneously (default), reducing false alarms in high-activity environments.

Key Features

  • Long-Range Capability: range of up to 328 feet (100 meters) in synchronous mode and 33~262 feet (10~80 meters) in asynchronous mode
  • Flexible Size and Beam Options:
  • E-9630-4S328DA – 4 Beams, 30" (76cm) Long
  • E-9643-6S328DA – 6 Beams, 43" (108cm) Long
  • E-9655-8S328DA – 8 Beams, 55" (140cm) Long
  • Selectable Detection Method: breaking of any single beam or the simultaneous breaking of two adjacent beams (default)
  • Rugged Construction: IP65 weatherproof rated rugged aluminum alloy and polycarbonate lens tube and end caps
  • Installation Ease: buzzer alignment indicator and up to 180° horizontal rotation
  • Wide Operating Voltage: wide operating voltage range of 9–30 VDC
  • Interference Mitigation:
  • Two selectable frequencies to avoid interference from other nearby sensors
  • Optional synchronization wire to prevent crosstalk in close proximity applications
  • Four adjustable sensitivity levels for optimal tuning
  • Alarm Outputs: an NO/NC relay output and a tamper alarm output (N.C.) that activates if the housing is disturbed
