The 2026 Locksmith Ledger Survey is now open, and we ask locksmiths to take about 10 minutes to complete the survey as it helps us create what has become a powerful research tool for the locksmithing industry. And the cumulative data that we have been able to track over the years continues to give us new insights into the changing and evolving profession that is locksmithing.

The comprehensive report, which will appear in the November issue and online, continues to grow and provides a glimpse into the forces that affect North American locksmiths and to quantify those factors on their business with data and additional feedback from fellow locksmiths. Combined with the Price Survey Report, which will appear in the October issue, our goal is to provide a full picture of how locksmiths today are running their businesses, and adapting to new trends and opportunities as the industry itself evolves with new product and technology trends.
