The new 8660 Series Inset Push Bar Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device and 8760 Series Inset Push Bar Rim Latching Exit Device from First Choice Building Products (FCBP) are designed for simple prep and installation, which is perfect for locksmiths and security pros. The attractive low-profile design of the exit devices features an inset push bar, which means no pinch point.

The 8660 Inset Push Bar Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device is an easy-to-install CVR two-point locking device, perfect for high-traffic areas. It’s developed for use with aluminum stiles as a single or paired application. Other features include:
- No visible hardware on the backside of the device
- Field sizeable from 48 inches to as narrow as 30 inches
- ANSI/BHMA GRADE 1 – UL/ULC listed for UL305 panic hardware
- Suitable for narrow, medium and wide stile doors
- Standard door widths 36 inches and 48 inches
The 8660 Series can be electrified by adding FCBP’s MEL3000-1 motorized latch retraction option to enable electric access control and dogging. Hex-key dogging is standard, or a key-cylinder dogging option can be chosen.
The 8760 Inset Push Bar Rim Latching Exit Device is a self-contained door lock mechanism. Here too, hex-key dogging is standard, or a key-cylinder dogging option can be chosen. This rim latch exit device, like all FCBP exit devices, can be electrified through the MEL3000-1 motor driven latch retraction retrofit kit. And, it can be used with FCBP’s SM500 electric strike. Other features include:

- 1-inch steel latch bolt (1/2 throw)
- ANSI/BHMA GRADE 1 – UL/ULC listed for UL305 panic hardware
