GMS LFIC with Schlage C Keyway

Aug. 2, 2022

GMS is introducing a cost-effective way to rekey buildings that no longer require Medeco high-security cylinders. Oftentimes, buildings are sold or repurposed, and the high cost of replacing the cylinders is a shock to the owner.  GMS now offers a solution to this problem. While retaining the existing hardware, you can replace the cylinders with a Schlage C keyway alternative, made to GMS’s exacting standards. Simply rekey the new cylinder and install to save your customer hundreds if not thousands of dollars. A new pinning kit is required because of some longer master pins that aren’t found in standard kits. Instructions are provided.
