4200 Electric Strike

June 3, 2014

The Trine 4200 features a removable ramp/fascia, which allows the flexibility to change the color of the most visible part of the strike in the field. For decades, changing the faceplate (which you see 5% of the time) didn’t mean changing the black ramp (which you see 100% of the time).

The 4200 comes standard with four faceplates that cover most installation needs, especially with aluminum frames. Additionally, it works with auxiliary latch “pins” that often cause problems for other electric strikes. Other specifications for the 4200 include a shallow 1 – 1/16 backset, low current draw (PoE friendly), 12 & 24 DC, 12-24 AC voltage, and comes with a trim skirt that matches the fascia color. This model has the tallest latch cavity in its class, allowing flexibility for installers with everyday door problems to make adjustments in the field.
