Universal 26-Bit Wiegand Keypad

Dec. 9, 2013

This ultra-thin, narrow keypad is flush mounted for wall or door mullion applications. The tamper-resistant fasteners allow for secure installations. An optical sensor coupled with an open collector provides a tamper alarm output.

The 8170 Wiegand keypad is compatible with the EZAccess control system and most other access systems marketed today. This keypad operates on only 40 mA of 5 to 16 volt DC power from the access system controller.  Up to five characters can be assigned for each user code and a fixed facility code is generated automatically upon a user code being entered.
