Norton 5900 Series X-in™

Norton Door Controls introduces the 5900 Series X-in™ full featured, extremely quiet, low-energy door operator, ideal for moderate to high-traffic door openings in healthcare facilities, schools, offices and public buildings. The X-in combines one-touch programming with the ability to calibrate door weight, latch and sweep speeds and positioning based on A.D.A. and ANSI Standards. It is also UL325, UL10c and ANSI/BHMA A156.19 certified.

With its Lock Circuit Retry, the operator will reverse 10 degrees and try again if the door fails to close initially. The Stop and Stall feature stops the door if it hits an obstruction during the closing cycle and rests against the obstruction until it is removed. X-in uses Electronic Dampening to counteract additional forces applied to the door during opening and closing. Stack Pressure Compensation allows for increased force to overcome minor stack pressures. Astragal Coordination ensures that, with double doors, one door closes before the other. And the X-in utilizes a Power Latch for increased latching power.
