Linear Expands Award-Winning eMerge Elite Embedded Access Control System

Chicago, IL - Linear LLC announces the first release of its eMerge® Elite-36™ embedded access control platform. With embedded browser-based management, the four-door eMerge Elite can support eight readers and up to 20,000 cardholders with as many as 80,000 cards. It is also capable of expanding to 36 doors and 72 readers with and expansion modules, making upgrades painless with its easy set-up wizard, and options like power-over-Ethernet and elevator control modules. 

One of the advantages to using the Linear eMerge Elite-36 is the lower long-term total cost of ownership (TCO) for users, versus traditional access control systems. The Elite-36 does this in a number of ways:

  • Ready out of the box, with solid state embedded web server and Linux OS
  • E3 platforms provide the fast setup and while providing lowest maintenance
  • Reduced virus potential
  • No dedicated workstation hardware or software clients to manage
  • No database software licenses required
  • Common software user interface across all eMerge E3 systems from basic to more powerful models.

The eMerge dashboard makes for intuitive installation and monitoring with floor plans and event logs offering a full system status at a glance, optimized for viewing on computer monitors, iPhones, iPads, Androids and other mobile devices. Data can be backed up automatically to Micro SD or FTP-based storage to ensure there's always a record of who has come and gone.
