Second Copycat Locksmith Charged in Palm Beach, FL
We recommend going online and searching for locksmiths in your area as if you were a consumer to make sure all your contact information comes up correctly and hasn't been altered by an imposter.
Unfortunately, there still seem to be plenty of scammer copycat locksmiths out there stealing business away from the legitimate guys. Here is a link to an article about a recent arrest in Palm Beach, Fla., of a scammer posing as a worker from a legitimate locksmith company: http://www.palmbeachdailynews.com/news/news/national/police-charge-copycat-locksmith/nWMqM/
According to the published story, these scammers somehow managed to post their phone number online in place of the legitimate locksmith company’s correct phone number. This is a good reminder to search for locksmiths in your area online as if you were a consumer and make sure all your contact information comes up correctly.
