Products displayed at the 2012 SOMA Conference include electronic lockers and kiosks with biometric locks and full audit trail

Auburn Hills, MI (PRWEB) Dec. 14: LEID Products, LLC., a leader in electronic locker and cabinet storage with biometric asset protection and control, is displaying its products at the Special Operations Medical Association (SOMA) Conference in Tampa, Fla., Dec. 15-18.

Products include the recently patented BACS system which securely stores and tracks items ranging from pelican cases containing controlled medications, to evidence, to highly sensitive valuable equipment and weapons. All visitors are welcome to visit LEID Products in Booth #305.

BACS secures, tracks (via RFID) and provides full accountability for items stored. Items are marked with an RFID chip linked to the BACS kiosk. The user logs into the BACS application to access items by placing their finger on the biometric reader for verification. Then the user selects the authorized items listed on the touch screen which is then retrieved from a secure electronic locker. The software includes administrative tracking reports providing a fully accountable audit trail.

BACS is a proven solution installed in US Military Special Operation Forces (SOF) facilities and earning exceptional reviews. Proven to save time and money, a white paper is available detailing more information on financial benefits of the BACS System.

In addition to the BACS biometric system, LEID will also display the Access.it® card reader and keypad access system which provides various levels of security. The Access.it card reader is compatible with Smart and Proximity Cards including the Common Access Card (CAC) and MIFARE technologies.

“SOMA is a great place for LEID to display its innovative solutions to sensitive asset storage and tracking,” said Sam Hoff, president of LEID Products, LLC. “The conference will bring together a wide array of experts from across the globe. We look forward to meeting as many attendees as possible.”

LEID’s systems are installed throughout the country; used to streamline operations at law enforcement departments, military facilities, medical facilities, and crime and research labs by securing, tracking and providing full accountability to clients’ weapons, evidence, medications, and other critical assets.
