The Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA) announces today that David Lowell, CAE, CML, CMST, has stepped down as executive director to pursue other interests.
Mary A. May, ALOA's membership service manager, will serve as executive director on an interim basis for the organization.
"David Lowell began working with ALOA more than 13 years ago as director of training and certification, eventually stepping into the role of executive director in 2008," says ALOA President Tom Demont. "He has effectively and successfully led our organization through what has been a challenging economic time for our country. We're grateful for David's significant contributions to ALOA, and we wish him the best in his new endeavors."
