Capitol Magnetic Padlock: Non-Key Retaining

Aug. 15, 2021

Capitol’s magnetic padlock now is offered with the nonkey-retaining function. The magnetic padlock can be customized for any application in seconds. In all existing models, although the padlock doesn’t “retain” the key mechanically because it’s held in place by magnets, the key is required to lock the padlock (key-retaining). The new series of shackles allows the padlock to be locked without a key.

Through Capitol’s Magnetic Padlock’s 5-second shackle change, it always has been easy to switch between long and short shackles as well as between stainless steel and hardened boron alloy shackles. The latest development in the line introduces all the same shackle sizes and materials, now available to make the padlock “non key-retaining.” One magnetic padlock body can be used in a multitude of scenarios and applications by simply swapping out shackles as necessary.
