Biometric BenjiLock® By Hampton Travel/Luggage Lock

March 4, 2020

Secure soft-sided luggage, backpacks, oversized gear bags and golf clubs without the need to bring along keys or remember a combination. With the new BenjiLock® By Hampton TSA Travel/Luggage Lock with Flexible Cable Shackle, your hard-to-lock shape is now easier to protect – and all you need to unlock it is your finger!

Hampton Products is expanding the BenjiLock family of fingerprint locks to include a version with a one-inch flexible cable shackle to quickly secure awkwardly shaped bags. Sleek, secure, Travel Sentry-approved and TSA accepted BenjiLock By Hampton Travel/Luggage locks allow users to travel without keys, and if needed, the lock can be opened by airport security and then returned to luggage to keep valuables secure during domestic and overseas trips.

The BenjiLock By Hampton TSA Travel/Luggage Lock with Flexible Cable Shackle measures approximately 1-7/8” H x 1-3/8 " W x 3/4" D and features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a covered braided steel cable shackle and can store five different fingerprints. The lock also comes with a private, resettable combination for use by travelers whose fingerprints are not stored in the lock’s memory. BenjiLocks are fully self-contained; since all programming is done on the lock itself there’s no need to use an app to add additional fingerprints, check battery status or access lock features.

The TSA Travel/Luggage Lock is part of the growing BenjiLock By Hampton portfolio, originally envisioned by inventor Robbie Cabral. The fingerprint padlock prototype originally seen on ABC’s “Shark Tank” has been brought to market by Hampton Products. The line now includes the original 43mm padlock, TSA travel/luggage locks as well as upcoming fingerprint-enabled bike U-locks, cabinet and desk locks, door locks and connected deadbolts announced at CES 2020.
