Gate/Fence Beam Sensors

Jan. 22, 2016
SECO-LARM U.S.A., Inc. has started shipping a new series of gate/fence beam sensors determined by ETL to be compliant with the UL 325-2016 Standard.

SECO-LARM's four new gate/fence beam sensors were tested by ETL against the UL 325-2016 standard. ETL is one of a handful of Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories, or NRTLs, which provide full test services to ensure electrical products meet tough UL standards.

The four new SECO-LARM gate/fence beam sensors include:

• E-931-S45RRGQ, a retro-reflective photoelectric beam sensor with a range of up to 45 feet (14 meters), weatherproof construction, adjustable sensing range, a Form “C” relay output, and a normally closed (N.C.) monitored output with a 10k-Ohm resistor.

• E-931-S50RRGQ, a reflective photoelectric beam sensor with a range of up to 50 feet (15 meters), weatherproof construction, a dual-color LED alignment system, a Form “C” relay output, and a normally closed (N.C.) monitored output with a 10k-Ohm resistor.

• E-931-S33PRGQ, a polarized reflective photoelectric beam sensor that is immune to shiny objects, with a sensing range of up to 33 feet (10 meters), weatherproof construction, a Form “C” relay output, and a normally closed (N.C.) monitored output with a 10k-Ohm resistor.

• E-960-D90GQ, a twin photobeam detector with a sensing range of up to 90 feet (30 meters), weatherproof construction, a Form “C” relay output, and a normally closed (N.C.) monitored output with a 10k-Ohm resistor.

Depending on model, the new sensors are currently shipping or will be shipping by the end of January. SECO-LARM also offers non-UL 325-2016 versions of these sensors.
