STRATTEC has introduced keyways for 2020-2022 Ford vehicles. The new mechanical design uses internal two-track cuts in a high-security keyway. Previously, Ford used an external two-track in a high-security keyway.
The vehicles that use the first design, which is a five-depth version, are the 2020 Ford Escape, 2021 Ford Bronco Sport and 2022 Ford Maverick. These vehicles will have a separate pinning kit available, part number 7038551. There will be an ignition repair kit (part number 5932148) and a door repair kit (part number 5932190).
The other version of the internal two-track will be a four-depth version that has a different key-code series. The locks will be used first on the 2021 F-150 pickup. This will be a different pinning kit and use different tumblers from the five-depth version. The STRATTEC part number for the kit is 7041339. There will be an ignition repair kit (5936813) and an RH door repair kit (5936581). Other locks for the F-150 can be found on the STRATTEC website.
