LAB Security began in 1956 by Mr. Robert Labbe. The purpose, to provide the highest quality lock tumbler pins and pin kits to the locksmith trade and lock manufacturer. LAB currently houses one of the largest numbers of swiss escomatic machines in North America. LAB Security has branched out over the past several years to supply other industries with high quality precision pins and is ISO certified 9001:2015 manufacturer. LAB prides itself on it its core business and continues to dedicate itself as the largest pin tumbler manufacturer in the World.
LAB has a dedicated staff of employees and distributors that continue to assist LAB in its future growth. LAB currently has 3 generations of Labbe’s working at LAB that ensure the pride in craftsmanship of all our products that are made here in Bristol, CT. Rick Labbe (second generation) has been recently promoted to Vice president of LAB Security. He follows in the footsteps of Jerry Roraback who was with Robert Labbe from the beginning. Rick has over 34 years with the company and has been directly involved in operations, sales and business development. His expertise will continue to allow LAB to grow and support the industry of locksmiths and lock manufacturers in the coming years.
