For many years Strattec included listings of popular types of large trucks in their yearly catalogs. Approximately 20 years ago another company began the distribution of large truck lock components and information on key blanks and key code series by vehicle became less available.

Fortunately many large trucks continue to use the same Strattec codes year after year but there are some exceptions.  Freightliner began using a new FT1001-FT3000 code series in 2003. Kenworth and Peterbilt began using a P0001-P1500 series in 2011 and International trucks began using a new I001-I1680 in 2017. Some cab forward (CF) truck models are actually rebadged import models and do not use Strattec key blanks or key codes.

The following list shows which key blanks and key codes are used by each popular large truck model. Please contact Locksmith Ledger either with any errors or omissions you may discover or if you require key cutting information for any key codes listed.        or many years Strattec included listings of popular types of large trucks in their yearly catalogs.
