‘Scammer Locksmiths’ Make Atlanta TV News

In the report, the owner of the local locksmith shop estimates that scammers are costing him up to 40 percent of his business.

Atlanta’s WSB TV reported on the scammer locksmith this weekend, airing a story that says rogue locksmiths were duping customers by placing false Yellow Pages and Internet ads with the name almost identical to the  legitimate local lockshop but alternate phone numbers, then intercepting customers who meant to call the established, legitimate Sandy Springs Lock and Safe.
