IDN-H. Hoffman hosted its annual Milwaukee Bratfest Trade Show August 23, 2014 in Butler, WI. 

The IDN-H. Hoffman Milwaukee Bratfest Trade Show was filled with over 50 manufacturers displaying items as diverse as automotive products, locksmith tools, padlocks, access control, CCTV, safes, safe locks, key machines, electronic access control, and both residential and commercial locks. There was something for every locksmith to see and hundreds of locksmiths made the trip to the Milwaukee area for the show.

W.J. Schelp Named PDQ Reps

Milwaukee-based W.J. Schelp and Associates, Inc., has assumed sales rep duties for PDQ's Upper Midwest territory of Wisconsin, Minnesota, northern Illinois and the Dakotas.

LILIN Names North America VP/GM

LILIN North America, the US entity of IP video provider Merit LILIN, named Joe Cook as vice president/general manager of its operations. Cook will assume responsibility for the North American headquarters in Arcadia, Calif., including support and oversight of strategic direction, goals and growth objectives.

A veteran of the video surveillance and IP video technology industries, Cook is an experienced professional with a history of management and marketing excellence in commercial and government markets, as well as with large OEM accounts. He joins LILIN from Moxa America where had served as Business Development Manager for its IP video unit.

"I am pleased to join LILIN, a company committed to performing its own in-house design, engineering and manufacturing. In today's fast-paced market, it is important to have the ability to control specifications and have the flexibility to quickly meet changing market demands," Cook said.

Vanderbilt Expands Sales Team

PARSIPPANY, NJ – Vanderbilt Industries announces that three proven veterans of the security industry have recently joined the company—Brian Mathieu, Jennifer Martin and Christopher Burton.

Jennifer Martin’s 30+ years in the security industry has translated into a successful track record in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Most recently, Martin served as Director of Sales for WavestoreUSA, where she was responsible for creating and executing WavestoreUSA’s market development, sales and business plans.

Brian Mathieu brings to Vanderbilt Industries 25 years of experience building strategic sales programs. He has produced leading business units and high-performing channel partners through application and delivery of successful management strategies, market identification, and strategic planning for such top firms as Cardkey, Henry Brothers Electronic, Securitas, and Simplex Grinnell. Brian is in charge of the East/NorthEast Region, based in Boston.

Christopher Burton has joined the Sales Team to support and grow its base of Canadian customers. Most recently, Christopher served as marketing manager for Ingersoll Rand in Canada with responsibility for electronic access control in its electronic lock division.
