SDC Contracts With Lund On ADI Directives

Security Door Controls has contracted with David Lund, president of Mid-Atlantic Representatives, Inc., to help develop relationships with ADI corporate – North America's leading wholesale distributor of security and low voltage products.

“We’re very excited about benefiting from David’s commitment and decades of experience in servicing the distribution channel of the Security Industry,” said Shane Geringer, VP Sales of SDC. “SDC and ADI are two truly unique entities in the industry and we’ve engaged one of the few security professionals who understands how to fully realize the full value of that relationship.”

Lund will be active in implementing strategies to accelerate product sales and to manage SDC activities, service and support for ADI’s vast distribution network of 95+ local branches and online ecommerce presence. He will be introducing the implementation strategy at SDC’s annual Representative meeting in November.

Lund’s distribution experience began in 1982 when he owned a maintenance products distribution company in the Washington D.C. area. “That’s where I learned that service is the primary selling feature,” said Lund. “It’s not what you sell or the price, it’s how fast you respond and get the job done.” In 1992 he started Mid-Atlantic Representatives with a commitment to servicing the distribution channel of the Security Industry. While there, he developed a strong relationship with ADI and represented Safety Technology International for over 20 years.

As a U.S. manufacturer of premium grade access control hardware specified by security consultants for prominent facilities worldwide, SDC is a recipient of 24 SIA Awards and Recognition for innovative products.  SDC has been providing intelligent solutions for Security, Safety & Accessibility to the Industry for over 40 years.  More Info: www.sdcsecurity.com
