Use the Pro-Lok AO-39 “Double Slide Tool” car-opening tool, an inspection light and an inflatable wedge to unlock the rear passenger door locking mechanism. Begin by inserting the wedge six inches from the rear edge of the glass. Inflate the wedge. Insert the inspection light four inches from the rear edge of the window glass and identify the horizontal linkage rod. Insert the short end of the AO-39 tool into the passenger compartment one inch from the rear edge of the glass with the tip facing forward. Lower the tool into the door cavity nine inches. Rotate the AO-39 90 degrees counterclockwise. Lower the tool one inch to position the tip over the horizontal linkage rod. Twist the tool to bind the linkage rod and slide forward to unlock the door locking mechanism.
Use the Slide Lock Inverted Z-Tool car-opening tool and a wedge to unlock the front passenger door locking mechanism. Insert the wedge forward of the rear edge of the window opening at a distance that will accommodate the car opening tool. Carefully insert the Inverted Z-Tool one inch beyond the vertical lock button with the tip pointing forward. Lower the tool approximately six to eight inches and rotate one quarter revolution counterclockwise. The car-opening tool will be directly beneath the bent vertical linkage rod. Carefully lift the car opening tool to unlock the door locking mechanism.
Use the Tech-Train Productions TT-1003 car-opening tool to unlock the rear passenger door locking mechanism. Insert a wedge forward of the outside door handle, having sufficient room to insert and manipulate the car opening tool. An inspection light can be inserted into the door cavity to illuminate the location of the horizontal linkage rod. Carefully insert the short end of the TT-1003 into the door cavity with the tip facing forward at a slight angle towards the rear of the vehicle. When the tip of the tool is beneath the bottom of the window glass, rotate the tool towards the far side of the vehicle. Lower the tool until you contact the horizontal linkage rod. This linkage rod is at approximately the centerline of the outside door handle assembly. Manipulate the TT-1003 to trap the linkage rod in the hooked tip of the car opening tool. Bind the linkage rod and slide the tool forward to unlock the locking mechanism.
The direction to rotate the driver’s door lock plug to the unlocked position is counter clockwise.
