Mayflower Names Vice President
Mayflower Sales has added a new member to its management team. Jeff Weinstein joins Mayflower sales as a vice president, responsible for personnel, sales management, advertising, marketing, branch expansion opportunities and strategic/growth planning.
Weinstein has been in the industry for more than 23 years beginning in 1988 when he joined Medeco as its Florida representative. In recent years he was the director of sSales for ASSA ABLOY DSS for both NY Metro and Upstate NY.
Senior VP Paul Swetow states, “With Jeff’s experience and extensive contacts in our industry we feel we are poised to expand into new and challenging sales channels as well as continuing our recent growth spurt.”
DORMA Adds Executive Position
David Katz recently joined DORMA Architectural Hardware, Reamstown, Pa., in the new position of Director of Business Development, Technology. His responsibilities include identifying opportunities and developing programs to pursue and secure sales growth outside traditional contract hardware channels. These efforts will include a particular emphasis on technology and markets.
Katz has more than 12 years of experience in the security industry, and has previously held executive positions in technology and engineering management, with deep experience in creating and leading teams, product management, strategic planning, and R&D. He has also created product portfolios geared to increase customer focus and satisfaction.

KBC Tools Names Director, Canadian Operations
Karen Neath, branch manager at KBC’s Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, has been appointed KBC Tools & Machinery’s director of Canadian operations, a new position Neath will continue her role as branch manager while expanding her mandate to include overseeing and coordinating activities among KBC’s Oldcastle, Ontario and Delta, B.C. branches.
Founded in Detroit in 1965, KBC expanded into Canada in the late 1980s with its first Greater Toronto Area location. Continued growth has made the Director of Canadian Operations job a happy necessity for the metalworking supplier.
“When we decided to take this step, it was immediately clear that Karen would be an ideal candidate for the job.
