Cutter turning direction is clockwise, so always begin cutting near the bow of a key when cutting on the right side of a sidewinder key and start near the key tip when cutting on the left side of a sidewinder key.
Added touches, such as a drawer to stow tools, cutters and adaptors plus a protective clear shield which moves downward in unison with the cutter assembly, should not be overlooked. A concealed work light provides an added bit of illumination for the work surface.
As more and more vehicles change to sidewinder lock systems, a key machine to duplicate these key types becomes more of a necessity. The Bianchi 303 machine is a workhorse which can definitely fill that need.
